Nice video about the history of 'woke' media. Strong focus on the X-Men comics and cartoons.
I have never seen the movies, do they still push these realities?

It’s a great book that combines bio with a history of music and creativity.

Thanks fascism.
"The 25-year-old undocumented American explained to an agent that one of his tattoos was an autism awareness ribbon, dedicated to his 15-year-old brother. He further clarified that none of his three tattoos was connected to Tren de Aragua, and, after the agent searched his phone, Alvarado was declared "clean.""

Vamp
A comedy horror in vein of Return of the Living Dead where humor comes from the situations.
Wonderful use of background. Dialogue influenced by His Girl Friday.
Lighting design influenced by Suspiria.
Keith Harring art body painted on Grace Jones.
A strip club owned by vampires a decade before From Dusk Till Dawn made it pop culture.
Wrapped with a great cast of Chris Makepeace, Robert Russler, Gedde Watanabe, Deedee Pfiefer, a silent Grace Jones, and the always scary Billy Drago.

Just Before Dawn
A clever redneck slasher from the great Jeff Lieberman. A director who never repeats himself creates some creepy and suspenseful moments with the camera. Wonderfully framed and lit.

Capping off my binge of Sid and Marty Kroft’s Land of the Lost (1974) series with The Tool Box Murders (1978).
If you’ve seen them, you know why.
