The anticipation of the third album finally coming out was immense, and while it's a good album it could never meet the expectations.
I saw them on the Third Stage tour and Ace Frehley was the opening act

Preordered Boston's debut album, 50th anniversary SACD, originally announced as available later this month. It's now been pushed back to Secong Quarter of 2027.
I'll wait til it's finally released.

I've given Chickenfoot a quick listen and I just couldn't get it, might be because Van Hagar never struck a chord with me. I liked Hagar's solo stuff before VH, but he became to full of himself, or had the stage to let everyone know he was full of himself when he joined VH

I love the Oysterhead album, but it's not something that I'd grab right away. When one of the songs comes on I'm into it.
The Damn Yankees have 2 albums that have the poppy songs of Tommy Shaw and Jack Blades, but also have the attitude of Uncle Ted Nugent, and may cause you to put the foot down a bit more when driving.

Surgeon's nurse just called, and all labs and imaging are good, and we're on schedule.
I'll be admitted on Thurs 10/22 for my angio to be done and surgery on Fri 10/23.
This week will be spent organizing paperwork, cleaning the apt, and making a checklist of chores and things to do last minute before I leave my home for 6-8 weeks

I've endured the 725 mile trip to NY and I'm greeted with sirens.
Rained through most of VA, glad I left at 3am, so the roads were somewhat empty.
VA can fuck right off with those Work Zone speed cameras. 8 mile work zone with nothing but orange barrels to be seen, and 3 or 4 mobile speed cameras placed along the way. Normal speed limit is 70, this work zone was 55, I know I'm getting at least one $100 ticket.
How much does $100 in nickels weigh?

Thank God that the Detroit tigers have changed the name of their home ballpark from Comerica Park to??????

WOW! I never would have thought of that as the cause of death in a helicopter crash
Eliana Moreno, the 38-year-old aerial reporter who was killed in last week’s deadly NBC4 LA helicopter crash, died as a result of blunt force trauma, according to the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s Office.

Just watched Batman Begins, and I must say that Katie Holmes really stood out in the movie

So driving an estimated 25 more minutes is somehow the "green" way to get there.
This must be the new math that I've heard so much about

Happy Anniversary!!!!
That is what it really is, the anniversary of your birth. Now you too can start sending people anniversary cards instead of B'day cards

Well, I did the dumbest thing possible in my current situation, I decided to check the life expectancy after having an aortic valve replaced, and it's 10-15 years. I mean, it beats the 2-5 years if left untreated, but basically seeing your own motallity like that sucks.

I've seen it, and my thoughts the whole time were, "is this supposed to be funny?"

Ah! I have Apple computers, but I don't use any of their apps except Music to organize my ripped CD's.
