“If you leave a tent behind, I will personally find you” (from the event organisers)
This should be the standard for all events not just #emfcamp

We think they’ve fixed the broken 🤖 it can eat/drink again, and not not feel like absolute death/self district. ✅
Being discharged from a two day A&E stint I’m being discharged by first putting me to a ward. Fun! 🤯
We still doesn’t really know what caused it but have a few things to watch for. Very unlikely the previous fall. That was really really unfun and v scary. Couldn’t have happened at a worst time too.
Once again, NHS Heros, saved the day 🙏

Final few of these left. Will be posting out tomorrow.
I have a lot of DECT base stations (either with a pots line or all IP and POE). All with PSUs. If you buy a phone and would like one of these I’ll throw in for free.
Useful for after camp if you wish to continue to use your DECT. You’ll just need a sip line (can help with that too) or something like #EPVPN.

We’re doing quite a bit more for CYBAR this year at #emfcamp and think people are going to love it.
Suggested we document the behind the scenes, how we did it and maybe some content from the event.
Thinking would people come to a talk at the next event of ‘How we did CYBAR in 2026’?

The amazing, caring, talented angels have been around the clock giving me the best care and love for a week, awaiting sugery. Yesterday, I get the ‘all your organs are now fine’, we just need to fix your pelvis and the ribs will self heal.
Today had the pelvis surgery… came out of recovery and back in my room, within 5 minutes a restaurant quality (and gluten free) curry waiting for me, and hardly any pain at all.
I’ll be on crutches for a month, and then thats IT. That’s it!
SO THANKFUL❤️

Woke up with a broken pelvis, every left rib fractured, which has then gone on to stab/slice EVERY internal organ. Lots of internal bleeding, many drains, and hooked up with all the lines…

Someone must have noticed, as the garden I fell in to, has been empty for a while.
Emergency services arrive, ambulance, fire, police and then the London Air Ambulance.
They work on me for an hour, before then taking me in the helicopter to London Kings College hospital (major trauma hospital).

So last Monday, I woke up and noticed that some antennas (for #meshcore) I have stuck to the outside of my windows, had moved in the wind. To access them, it’s via a 5th floor window. I remember opening the window and reaching for the antenna. Next: two days later in a Critical Care Unit, VERY broken.
I had fallen 5 floors directly onto a concrete patio below.

Give me another ISP where you can ping a tech via IRC about a mutual client's line (where we can see the majority of the backend info too) and literally within seconds of you sending the line details, has a case raised and asking for access tomorrow am... no fuss, no rebooting this, do that...
Bravo @npub1sv0…rq9x
Just lets us get on with what we're good at.

Very thankful for having my building intercom, come to an @npub1sv0…rq9x VOIP line which is recorded and emailed as a simple attachment.
Meant I could play back the interaction with said agent this morning, and listen to what he later wouldn’t repeat (claimants details).

Found the contact details for the claimant.... apparently he was still in bed. Advised I'd also had an early call, and to go wake him up.
It's geniune, but for another person with my name... in another part of the country. The person was just as surprised as me...
Now what... agent was supposed to be back 30 mins ago, an dI need to go out.

2025-11-11 07:49:50 UTC

Erm... apparently I have an enforcement officer at my intercom, from the high court re a writ, from a company/personal I have never dealt with...
They're coming back in 20 minutes.... They have my name and address, and given the other parties name/compaby....
Scam/Fraud/wtaf.....

does it do the same if you pop it in high power mode?

2025-08-13 17:38:35 UTC

So my Mac Studio M1 Max, keeps going 'slow'... it 'looks' like OBS an Firefox are consuming 150%ish CPU each....
Digging into this... the various different cores have variable freq, so clock down...
Annoying, the system 'needs' more but clocks down...
High Power mode only looks available for M4 mini's... assuming that would keep it from doing this.

Finally dawned on me, I really need to setup a will. Purely so the doggos are taken care of how I’d want when I’m gone (don’t worry, not planning that any time soon). Have no idea where to even start the formalities. Though have someone to look after my estate and the doggos.
