I thought I'd reshare this photo taken at Denmark Hill London Overground Station.
Many people have said that the blurred commuter in this photo looks like a ghost or even the Grim Reaper.

Take me to Greenwich
A fun Halloween themed photo featuring the iconic Green Witch, Elphaba Thropp, from Wicked, on a poster at Bank Underground station in London. It took a few attempts to get the timing right but was very pleased with the results

AUG / EARL'S COURT
I love walking along the upper level of the station, looking down at the trains. I was hoping to capture the unlikely alignment of 4 trains, but instead loved this quiet balance of trains & a lone off-centre figure

I was going through my old photo files and came across some old photos taken in 2019 of a temporary carriage by Kirkby Design. The installation was presented as part of 100% Design during the London Design Festival,

There’s something special about the view from the end of the platform at Harlesden Station. It’s an ideal spot to capture trains arriving and departing from the station.

My kids absolutely love waving at train drivers whenever we see them! I’ve spoken to drivers who’ve said they love it too, and that seeing little ones waving can genuinely make their day. It’s such a lovely little interaction.

Don't forget to look up!
I must remember to look up more at Tube stations because there are so many lovely architectural details to admire, like the up lighters, beautiful ceiling structures and windows at Northfields London Underground station.

Does Hanwell Station have the cosiest waiting room on the London Underground network?
Olivia has a special love for Hanwell Station, drawn to its rich history and vintage charm. Inside, the waiting area feels like a little hidden gem, complete with cosy chairs and a small bookshelf where passengers can take a quiet moment away from the hustle and bustle, almost like stepping into a scene from the Harry Potter films.
A short snippet from one of my favourite station interviews!

I love the chequered floor tiles at Holborn London Underground station.
Chequered tiles are surprisingly quite unusual in tube stations, the only other station I can think of that has them is Houslow central but there must be more?

Deep beneath London, a strange steel creature stirs. Its headlights glow as it cautiously emerges from the tunnel, sniffing out the platform ahead. For a moment, it surveys the territory, then vanishes back into the darkness.
Taken at Sloane Square.

A bit of Friday fun with moquette! Looking back at this shoot, where Andreya tried her best to go incognito in her camouflage jackets, blending into the colourful upholstery of the Circle, Bakerloo and Victoria lines.

Did you know Bank/Monument Station has 16 entrances?
It’s one of the most confusing stations on the London Underground, & with good reason I set out to find every single entrance and see just how far this Underground maze really goes.
I counted 16 but I think there may be more?

Cockfosters Cockerel
The name Cockfosters usually brings a smile to people's faces, but it's thought to be innocently named after the chief forester of Enfield Chase
As I've love taking pun photos at London Underground Stations, I couldn't resist bringing a toy cockerel with me

Mesmerised by Light
Travelling through the London Underground, I found myself mesmerised by the flickering lights and passing reflections. For a moment, the carriage transformed into a natural disco, dancing right before my eyes.
No extra tickets required, just please keep your feet off the seats. 😉

There’s something beautiful about the way architecture creates a frame of its own. At Stoke Newington, the darkness of the tunnel surrounds the London Overground train, leaving only two bright headlights, like a pair of happy eyes announcing its arrival.

Abbey Road DLR station has confused so many Beatles fans that TfL installed a sign directing them to the real Abbey Road at St John's Wood, North West London.
So I thought it would be fun to bring the Beatles to East London instead, staging a tiny reunion cutout from a poster.
