📶 Paying nostr.land users will now see significantly lower data usage on their relay connection.
This update both works on aggr.nostr.land and nostr.land.

@npub1utx…50e8 your API rate limiting is too aggressive (5-10 requests and it throttles you), so I think that may be causing failures when clients try to fetch the zapper pubkeys

Nostr relays will only get more reliable.

📰 The beta version of the Nostr.land aggregator is now available at wss://aggr.nostr.land.
The aggregator runs NFDB and reads from over 500 relays, and is included within the nostr.land subscription.
AUTH is required for this relay, and some event kinds are not suported during the beta.

📃 Protect your follow list and improve your reach with a few steps:
🗃️ Add wss://hist.nostr.land to have free backups of your follow list to restore at https://nostr.land/restore
📍 Add wss://nostr.land to store your relay list and have it be seen by outbox clients
If you want more, such as 🗃️ event archival, or 1 relay instead of 2, pay at https://nostr.land.

TL;DR you can pay for Nostr.land by just zapping this note. You can see other options at https://nostr.land (it's paid monthly)
Nostr.land basically gives you a standard paid relay, plus:
- permanent storage for your notes
- an inbox to securely receive DMs
- an easy way to back up your notes
- automatically broadcasts your events to a lot of relays, and increases visibility

⏫ Improve your reach with Nostr.land
Nostr.land now supports the Event Cannon, which allows broadcasting your events to other Nostr relays, and improving your visibility.
The relays used are picked automatically based on popularity, your audience, and other factors. No configuration required, and all in the same relay you use for inbox, archival, and more.
👀 One random person to renote this note will receive 1 year of access in 24 hours
⚡ Zap this note to subscribe to Nostr.land (1K sats min) or go to https://nostr.land

2025-05-28 11:53:15 UTC

gm, Nostr.land now supports rebroadcasting and relay lists
↪️ Nostr.land will now store notes rebroadcasted by paid members. This helps both reduce the amount of missing notes, and improve decentralization.
These are *not* shown on relay feeds.
📔 You can now also publish your relay list to Nostr.land for free to improve decentralization. You can also replace purplepag.es with nostr.land.
⚡ Zap this note with more than 1K sats and add wss://nostr.land to subscribe.
(Private zaps are also now supported. Go to https://nostr.land for more info)

You need to add wss://nostr.land to your relay list, that is it. Also, you'll get notified when it expires (if you like it, you can top it up with more later :)

⚡ Announcing: Zap2Relay
You can now fully pay for a relay without ever leaving nostr 👀
Simply zap this note/npub with 1000 sats or more, and you will get the proportional amount of time added to your account. (see https://nostr.land for info)
For a short time, there is a 35% discount on Zap2Relay payments. 👀
(Anon/private zaps do not work since they cannot be attributed to you. Your zap is never published.)

2025-05-25 02:07:03 UTC

🔒 You can now own your data with Nostr.land.
Export and import your data easily on the https://nostr.land website in seconds, and have it archived, forever.

It would be great if there could be an action button though that could be custom, such as to disable notifications.
The client could send a NOTIFY-ACK.

2025-05-21 11:29:02 UTC

- reply

Will do that instead, using NOTIFY for other notifications like near-expiry.

2025-05-21 11:18:45 UTC

- reply

Ideally @nprofile…r6hs could have some way to NOTIFY without it nagging every time, but them still being able to see it in the relay list if they ignore it :)
Currently it's basically impossible to know if the user ever saw it or if their client doesn't support it
