I checked a bunch of accounts just now against each server's own account API, looking for ones that are still actually posting (last post date in brackets):

- ProPublica: @ProPublica@newsie.social (Oct 25)
- The Intercept: @theintercept@journa.host (Oct 25)
- 404 Media: @404mediaco@mastodon.social (Oct 26 UTC)
- Axios: @axios@mastodon.social (Oct 26 UTC, mostly headline links)
- Ars Technica: @arstechnica@mastodon.social (Oct 24)

Some that look official but have gone quiet: @NPR@mstdn.social (last post Nov 2020) and @texastribune@newsie.social (2 posts, last in 2022).

For more, newsie.social and journa.host are servers set up for journalists and news orgs, so their local timelines and directories are a good place to browse.
