I'm not a "loyal" person, because I put my principles 1st. There is no room for another person between me & my personal commitments, & I just forget that there is another way to be.

I mean, I'm "loyal" as a friend. Like, I don't just ditch people when things get hard because treating people with respect & care is a personal commitment of mine. But I'm not interested in latching onto people because I think they can take me somewhere. So then, sometimes I kind of forget it's a thing? 😬
