Mom says he gets to go home today. He seems to be doing much better today. Now begins the arduous task of keeping him still for the next 2 weeks for it to heal in place. He has dementia so that will add to her struggle with this.

He is out of surgery. The pacemaker seems to be doing its job. He will stay overnight and maybe the full weekend for observation then he goes home. My mom will be responsible for keeping him from pulling his leads or messing with the stitches, etc for the next 2 weeks.
