If someone can use political office for those purposes, that's great: obstruct the fascists, oppose injustices, reduce poverty. All are fucking worthwhile endeavors.

All are also insufficient to actually transform global power relations & bring down the oligarchs.

A political office holder who is an ally will understand that & will support & potentially even participate in direct action. They will not try to get us to quiet down & "behave" so that *they* aren't put in a difficult position.
