Thinkin' about my grandfather led to me thinking about how Kajoozie Maflingo (nprofile…ga6f) and I named our kid after him because we both had a grandfather with this particular less-than-ordinary name. Thinking about that led to thinking about my nephews both being named after their great-grandfathers, the oldest being named after my paternal grandfather. That led to me thinking about my 2 oldest, my daughters. The younger was named after her great-grandmother. The oldest, the baby that made me a mama. The one that I made all of the mistakes with that led to me being a better mama for her siblings. She was named after a ghost at a plantation. Lol.
