Genetically, I am 1/2 German, 1/8th Native American, and 3/8th various Scandinavian ancestry, religious, I have my own belief system, it incorporates much of Christianity, but more that which is observable, not that which is dogmatic, and in that frame, when God was asked his name, his answer was, "I am that I am", not Jehova, not Jesus, not Allah, and rationally that makes sense for we living in a universe of two trillion observable galaxies, perhaps an infinity beyond the limit of observation, each of those has around 600 billion stars, there are more planets than stars, mathematically it's impossible for us to be the only intelligent species, any God that exists can't possibly be tribal, so God's children, to the degree we are all here we are all God's children. My view of God is that consciousness is the bottom turtle, underneath everything and is infinite in space and time. So hopefully this will give you some insight on how wrong your presumptions are, or perhaps not, you can grow or stall, if it were me that narrow of a viewpoint would seem claustrophobic.
