Our political creeps pioneered the "link tax", age-verified social media, and were the first country to fully ban online gaming (back in 1988!), since repealed.
We don't copy any good ideas. Our cyberstalking and doxxing-for-profit laws are so weak that mobile phone firmware images for Australian markets are bloated to 2x size of more restrictive countries with spyware, adware and undeletable crapware...
