FWIW, I coded the debt badge to sync w/ https://fiscaldata.treasury.gov/datasets/debt-to-the-penny/debt-to-the-penny which is about 48 hours behind on reporting, and to project to present time based on the annual average debt per second and the number of seconds stale the treasury data is.
