The Good, Bad, and Ugly:
Good: hardware is no longer the problem, and we're not at 60% disk IO just trying to keep the instance afloat.
Email should be working again.
Subjectively it feels better.
Bad: account export is still borked, intermittently.
Ugly: There's nothing I know how to look for that can indicate why. I'm going to spend more time on it when work isn't competing for time.
3am snapshots should resume, so if you are one of those people who browses in non-US time, you've been warned.
