Hmmm... Heat exchanger to pull the temp down to near ambient while pre-heating the air to the gasifier. Then probably wet filter.
On something "huge" scale, it's worth the effort.
I'm a bit interested in building a stationary wood-gas generator to cover power generation in the winter when solar is not available. Future project...
