I can’t decide what’s worse - someone who’s never left Twitter or someone who took a principled stance early on but goes back once it’s been truly established what a terrible place it is.
I applauded Federico Viticci :ticciseal: (npub189s…3rm4) for his decision to take MacStories all-in on Mastodon when it wasn’t clear at all where the platform would be going. Them all going back to Twitter now - for the “AI”, obviously - undoes that and really taints their work.
Sad.
