⚡️🔫🧬 NEW - French police are calling for “DNA GUNS” to identify suspects during protests.

These weapons could fire pellets containing a synthetic DNA liquid with a UNIQUE CODE up to 30 to 40 meters.

Upon impact, the pellet bursts and releases a liquid capable of penetrating clothing and leaving traces on the skin for several days—EVEN AFTER WASHING—allowing the targeted individuals to be identified later.

But this technology raises serious concerns. The projectiles could cause injuries, particularly to the FACE OR EYES.

Even more concerning: a person could be marked WITHOUT HAVING COMMITTED ANY OFFENSE. This marking would link them to a police operation, WITHOUT, HOWEVER, PROVING THAT THEY PARTICIPATED IN VIOLENCE OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

👉 The use of coded marking devices is among the recommendations in a Senate report on law enforcement.
