I think things are changing with the coming generation. A lot of my feminist friends are raising their children with the thoughtfulness & care of conscious parenting. They have ideals they’re consciously passing on to their kids be it about equality, consent, kindness, independence & questioning social conditioning.
And the keyword here is feminist. Children don’t automatically grow up free of patriarchy. They have to be taught to recognise it, question it & imagine something better.
