I am interested to see how China verifies and proves its Gold reserves, if they can maintain the discipline to not debase the RMB, as well as how they handles those who show up at the window to exchange their RMB for Gold. It’s been tried before and numerous governments have failed. But, being completely honest, I wish them the best of luck. It would be good for the world if it works.
