Only I’m not being left behind. LLMs are being shoved into my life whether I want them or not. Linus has taken away my last bastion of security against them. I can’t just sit in my little corner eating snack food and having a crafty wank between code sessions, free of worry over slopcode. The slopcode is coming in on its own.
I’m angry about this. My preferred reality doesn’t include slopcode. That has been taken from me. There’s no ethical difference anymore between using and not using, because no matter what I want I’m using slopcode. Fuck Linus Torvalds for that shit. Fuck him up the cloaca.
