Thanks. Logistics of the trip were dominated by the needs of the horses and mules. Each of the three camping spots were next to a stream where they could drink. There were also some water crossings for them to drink from during the rides. They were hobbled at the campsites so they could roam around and graze. This was supplemented by grain we brought which was fed to them at the campsites. They were quite good at moving with the hobbles— went up to a mile away one day!
