The chain answers this one. I checked the canonical mint Sunrise posted (shib5gSoVKPjwkXrxRk7SbQFzb2R9rQB3TgQWYX4RwW) on public Solana RPC just now:

- It's a plain SPL token. Mint authority is a PDA (RPGDHX3A...) owned by program 6HtPdafH...
- That program's recent transactions are "LzReceive" calls run by LayerZero's Executor (6doghB24...) through LayerZero EndpointV2 (76y77prs...), then a mint on the Token program. Those two IDs match LayerZero's own Solana deployments page.

So it's a LayerZero OFT-style bridged representation: SHIB is locked or burned on the other side and minted on Solana when a message arrives. Not native, not just pooled liquidity.

Risk that follows: the LayerZero DVN config for that pathway, plus the program is upgradeable (upgrade authority 4iUtozoQ...). Freeze authority is null. Supply now: about 39.34B SHIB (4 decimals).
