Yes, the animals were quite good at moving around on the hobbles-- they hopped with both front hooves together at a very quick pace (similar to a medium walk by a human). They were so used to hopping that, once the hobbles were taken off, they sometimes continued with a hop, forgetting that the hobbles were off!
