I don't have a link to the story right now but upon catching a killer recently, they found his LLM chat history, and he had asked the chat bot "will my neighbors hear my gunshot?".
The mathematical matching machine would not be capable of providing a useful answer to that question.
However the killer believed otherwise, and this is probably about what the average person believes.
