Bitcoin will die so that it can rise again and live for eternity.

We will watch the pleb nodes suffocate beneath the weight of low-energy-density bits.

We’re told we won the blocksize war, yet nodes must store >1MB to be a full SegWit node. Sounds like an L to me.

Demand for blockspace is conserved. The fees that should have been paid in sats to access a finite blockspace were partially reallocated as additional bits >1MB that all nodes were forced to bear. 1 time paid fees were reduced for the eternal weight of additional bits in Segwit. It’s never been cheaper and easier to appended eternal low-energy-density bits to the chain. The fee market is dead by the inflation of bitspace. Time preference?

It’s call Bit-Coin, what happens when you only care to conserve the Coin and not the relationship to the Bit?

Few understand that the Genesis Block remains regardless; the memory remains. The truth of the work remains.

Every single block is a head of the hydra, a point in history from which work can resume and the chain can rise again. They can capture this fork of chain but they cannot undo Genesis.

Bitcoin can always reorg the cancer (excess bits) and the centralization of sats (RAM) away *IF* necessary. Bitcoin can always be revived at lower difficulties via block height rather than changing protocol defined difficulty by fiat. We can always lower our block-time preference.

We are Satoshi. Bitcoin will live. Enjoy the process.
