a couple of weeks ago, i got one of those noise machines that makes rolling thunderstorm sounds. i started it on the lowest setting and turned it up by one notch each evening when i fed the dogs. there is now a constant loud thunderstorm in the room where they spend a lot of time. i'm interested to see if it helps during a _real_ thunderstorm. right now, the dogs don't react to it at all.
i will say that none of the dogs reacted when there was thunder on the tv the other night.
