@girlonthenet Coucou! The other day you mentioned dating, and on that subject I went to the great Sophie Calle exhibition at Turner Contemporary in Margate last week. One section of the show is called On The Hunt, which is made up of photos of hunting towers in the woods, plus photos of the animals that visit.

BUT it also lists excerpts from lonely hearts small ads from French newspapers from 1900 to the present day, and some of the requests are amazing. I was at the other end of the gallery and heard my wife burst into laughter at a woman wanting to find a man who was “not completely stupid”. A low bar, maybe, but a bar nevertheless.
