I learned to do 0.3mm traces by default. It is already kinda risky because when my method works, it works great, but half of the time one part of the board etches much faster than another and those 0.3mm traces get eaten before others separate properly.
I still need to get a good feeling for when this happens. One thing I know is that fresh solutions help.
