Although I am still a bit grumpy about Making Tax Digital, the fact that it forced me to move to Freeagent has been useful, because my open source solution didn't do automatic bank reconciliation and thus force me to keep up to date with expenses.
I am still uncomfortable will having all my accounting records on a third party service though, which would be enormously disruptive if anything happened to that service.
