most applications are online these days through platforms like Indeed, Glassdoor or Google. If you find something you want to apply for, go direct to the companies website and apply through there if you can (it’s more likely to reach an inbox that actually gets looked at, and they don’t always remember to take down external platform postings). So pretty much the same starting process just straight to interview if they call at all, minus the 20 other steps afterwards.
If it’s like super local small business, mom and pop shop, they might not use online applications and it’ll be oldschool paper resume, smile and a firm handshake.
