It's a unique program:
- Focused on dynamical neuro: behavior, circuits, etc.
- Includes grad level math training for analysis and modeling: diff eq, linear analysis, etc. This is a big emphasis of the program.
- Integrated with AI/neuro labs and initiatives on campus for ML/AI/neuro.
- Interdepartmental: bio, physics, engineering, psych, stats, etc.
- Small classes, great community.
- Lots of cool labs-- e.g., navigation and vision and dendrites and computation, mice, flies, humans, ...
- It's a nice place to spend your PhD years.
