"content": "I don't know why everyone is ignoring my plea.\n\nAll I want is to feed my children and protect them from hunger. My son Ali was only one year old when the war started, but he learned fear before he could even speak, and knew hunger and thirst instead of play and laughter.\n\nMy daughter, Wateen, was born in a time of war. She came into this world without ever knowing the meaning of safety.\n\nMy children aren't asking for toys, sweets, or luxuries. They simply need food to satisfy their hunger, a morsel to strengthen their little bodies, and a little compassion in this cruel world.\n\nPlease don't dismiss my words as just another post.
