This show has been a point of contention in our household.
I grew up watching this, and loving it.
My wife watched it once or twice growing up, but always hated it and felt the claymation was "grotesque" and off-putting.
So I've tried to get her, and the kids to watch it with me, and every time it is rejected entirely. They think it's creepy looking.
It sucks, because for me it's a classic and a great achievement in animation and one of the better christmas specials that has ever been made.
But I'm doomed to just watch it by myself because nobody else appreciates it.
