Our tent was torn apart by the strong winds,
and the rain seeped into our blankets and our children’s tiny bodies.
Nothing protects us from the bitter winter cold,
no walls to preserve our warmth or dignity.
Here in Gaza… we struggle to survive under a roof made of plastic,
hoping the sky shows us mercy and doesn’t pour more.
Support us—every tent that’s repaired, every blanket that’s given,
could save a shivering child from the cold of death.
