"content": "People are upset about debian but debian would have to reject the kernel to reject LLMs. The fish starts rotting from the head. No distribution will be better than the very kernel it runs. The entire ecosystem is collapsing. \n\nWe really do have the 30M lines problem, as Molly Rocket put it. The kernel have always been a single point of failure\n\nWe need a standardized SoC (system on chip) with entire system ISA (instruction set architecture). We need operating systems to be a weekend projects. We need thousands of operating systems. We need open source hardware that will enable that.\n\n#debian #linux #kernel #slop #isa #soc #mollyRocket #embedded #permaComputing #retrohardware #programming #operatingsystem #os #device #OpenSourceHardware #OSHW",
