There's something logically wrong about how we talk about neuropsychiatric disabilities. They are lists of symptoms. Science has little idea of what's causing them.
Yesterday I heard someone on Swedish National Broadcasting say something like "Frank Andersson's short attention span and hyperactive behaviour got an explanation when he received an ADHD diagnosis".
Everyone already knew he had a short attention span and a hyperactive behaviour. That diagnosis explained exactly nothing.
