Early morning activities included changing linens after a failure of my husband's nighttime aprahatus. These things happen so we laugh it off and chuck him in the shower. It was too early and too late all at the same time so we took care of business and decided to make some coffee and stay up.
In the middle of everything the garbage truck came by. The neighbor who was trying to help us walked out to retrieve our bin. Everyone else was busy so Summer offered to run out and guide the bin retrieval. I opened the gate from inside and she ran out leash in mouth to park the bin and thank the neighbor.
It was all hands and paws on deck.
By breakfast time we were all back to our regular routine.
