If there is a loss of purchasing power, and real unemployment is at 10 to 20 percent and people can't afford even housing and taxation is at 50 percent and there is world war like situation. This is extreme. It is maybe not the most extreme but it is extreme.

Gaslighting in political discourse is a manipulation tactic in which the actual topic is distorted by denying facts or reality to make the public doubt their own perception.
You're saying the same things these manipulative politicians are saying ("Yes it's bad but it's far from being worse. We are still wealthy and rich and we can still pull ourselves by the bootstraps..."). I'm not saying you're doing it consciously. You might genuinely believe what you're saying. But by proxy you take part in it.
