Question for X11 specialists and archaeologists: Mandrake Linux 8.2 shipped with Xfree 4.2.0. I'll be running it on an NVIDIA GeForce 2 MX 400 64MB, which technically supports resolutions beyond 1920×1080.
What are the odds such a setup can power a bog-standard 1920×1080 60Hz LCD over VGA? I can save myself some money if I don't have to buy a 1920×1200 (which I think I saw in the Xfree setup of Mandrake 8.2?) or smaller monitor.
