What a rush hour today! One tractor and land machine after the other passes the house. Windows closed, the Diesel smokes are horrible. But even with closed windows, I smell the sweet-fruity maize.
The harvest ist early as never before, during another heatwave. Most of it will be only good for the bio gas plant. Nearly no grains, the plants didn't grow high, then were scorched by the sun.
Another temperature maximum today, another nearly failed harvest. Maize is not adapted to heat and dry soil.
