Does anyone in my circle have a contact at MITRE or would be able to provide guidance?
I submitted a CVE request August 2025 for a 9.8 cvss pre-authentication RCE, but never got any response. No CVE issued, no denial, nothing. I replied to the email several times requesting an update. Still nothing.
The vendor patched, I published the writeup, released metasploit modules, but still no movement on the CVE.
What should I do?
