Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK) mengungkapkan bahwa saat ini masih terdapat satu calon bursa aset kripto yang sedang menjalani proses evaluasi perizinan. Jika seluruh persyaratan dipenuhi, entitas tersebut berpotensi menjadi bursa kripto ketiga yang beroperasi secara resmi di Indonesia. Hingga kini, OJK belum mengungkap identitas calon bursa maupun target waktu penyelesaian proses evaluasi.
Menurut OJK, proses penilaian dilakukan secara menyeluruh, mencakup aspek permodalan, kepemilikan, tata kelola, manajemen risiko, sistem perdagangan, keamanan siber, perlindungan konsumen, hingga kesiapan integrasi dengan lembaga kliring, kustodian, dan Pedagang Aset Keuangan Digital (PAKD). Saat ini Indonesia telah memiliki dua bursa kripto berizin, yaitu CFX dan ICEx.
Apabila memperoleh izin, kehadiran bursa baru diharapkan dapat meningkatkan persaingan, inovasi, dan kualitas infrastruktur perdagangan aset digital di Indonesia. OJK menegaskan bahwa persetujuan hanya akan diberikan setelah seluruh persyaratan sesuai regulasi terbaru terpenuhi.

🟠 OJK Continues Evaluating a New Crypto Exchange Applicant in Indonesia
Indonesia's Financial Services Authority (OJK) has confirmed that one prospective crypto exchange is still undergoing the licensing evaluation process. If approved, it would become the third licensed crypto exchange operating in Indonesia. OJK has not disclosed the applicant's identity or provided a timeline for completing the review.
According to OJK, the evaluation covers a wide range of requirements, including capital adequacy, ownership structure, corporate governance, risk management, trading systems, cybersecurity, consumer protection, and integration with clearing institutions, custodians, and Digital Financial Asset Traders (PAKD). Indonesia currently has two licensed crypto exchanges: CFX and ICEx.
If approved, the new exchange is expected to strengthen competition, encourage innovation, and improve Indonesia's digital asset trading infrastructure. OJK emphasized that approval will only be granted once all regulatory requirements have been fully satisfied.
