A great thread for my fellow #developers to read. 📌
I've always believed that any skill can be learned and isn't innate. But my own skill and identity as a #developer is based on the sheer number of years, money, effort and time I've sunk into getting here. Even if I don't think I was 'born' with it... the threat to the value of, and how I execute that skill, represents a loss and "making a waste of" all that I invested to get here. And can I invest that again in order to pivot? Not really. 😓
