I actually read ~56 pp. of a novel tonight — an actual dead-tree book I checked out of the local library. I did this around dusk while having an Improved Whiskey Cocktail. I read until there wasn't enough light to read by. Then I sat there until I figured K would want me to come in for dinner. There was no cellphone, tablet, or other computing device in sight.
