I talked to a couple of people who are in manufacturing and am going to go see about an apprenticeship at a shop, probably going to take some courses on CNC. Honestly I should have made the jump 2 years ago.
#1 is to talk to people you know who aren't in tech. Starting over is scary but is still possible.
