Today Germany celebrates a day of freedom from authoritarianism while our government stands on the wrong side of history, again. Led by centrists who equate fascists and leftist environmentalists, again. Led by people who refuse to fight harder against Nazis than unions, again.

"Never again" is now, for everyone.

Everyone. Not "everyone aside from this list of acceptable victims."

All people, everywhere. No matter who is making, selling, and deploying the bombs. No matter who is behind a blockade, withholding food, water, and medicine. No matter whether the victims are children or grown men.

This is not a radical statement. The value of a human life is not negotiable. The radicals are the ones saying that some lives are worth less than others. The people against genocide are in the majority. Don't let governments make you forget that.
