the only reason i'm not going to switch to any kind of #bsd from #linux - even though linus torvalds fully supports ai & insults people (like me) who hate it AND the head linux maintainers are apparently all in on ai too - is that my dipshit brain wouldn't be able to cope with learning yet another operating system's syntax. especially 1 that has even fewer packages that work on it. it's the same reason i make sure whatever linux distro uses a debian base.
i couldn't even handle manjaro linux because it's based on arch, even there's a debian to arch package converter avaliable. plus while i'm tech savvy enough these days to be able to use linux with only a handful of problems i can usually solve, i'm not a proper programmer, so i can't fork the linux kernel like torvalds says i should. i'm a shitty web-dev at best. i'm basically at the mercy of losers who think - & i quote - "[anti-ai people] have lost their minds" & i fucking hate that fact.
i know more a little bit more about how computers work than the average person. that's it. and linux users with their heads up each other's arses WANT normies to use linux?????
