I'm all for it. I think health care is the most important offering we can make to people.
I was thinking back to when I and my wife first got married, and I was just entering the service. We were poor as church mice, barely making ends meet even living in a studio apartment.
But though we were just starting out and totally broke, we were safe. We could always do things to get by, like meticulously budget and get a second job, but even with that hardship we were not bad off.
Why, because we had health care. The military covered both my health needs and that of my spouse, which included an open heart surgery.
You can live with little to no spending money for some time if your health needs are fully covered. Why anyone would deny people that I don't know.
