My mother-in-law was diagnosed with Alpha-Gal before COVID and has a severe case of it (no dairy, no red meat incl pork). If she eats any of that, she goes into anaphylaxis & needs an epi-pen.
My father-in-law also ended up with it, after COVID & the vax. His isn't as severe. If he eats any, he needs a restroom, not an epi-pen.
