Lochiel update: the five folks who disappeared yesterday have been found. Here's the report:
After being held for 24 hours with no contact or clarity about their whereabouts, 5 land defenders from Lochiel were released with no charges today, dropped at a McDonalds on Craycroft in Tucson, AZ. Multiple protestors had to seek medical attention upon release, mostly for concussions but to also check for internal bleeding and other hidden injuries. This is a regular occurrence in the borderlands, migrants or even people with legal status captured with no communication or medical treatment, then dumped at a gas station or parking lot with no phone or water.
The protests are on going, follow @rally.forthevalley and @tierralibre_noborders for on the ground updates
